Viewing the Employee General Information Page

Access: Employees and their department managers.

There are two tabs on the Employee General Information screen: General, and HR

General Tab: Provides a quick view of the Employee's information. Your role determines the actions you can perform.

The employee has read-only access to view their information.
The employee's primary manager can view and edit information on this tab to ensure all information is current.
Managers of departments to which the employee has an association can view the employee's contact information.

Pro Tip: If you are the employee's primary manager and do not see the Edit button, you may need to adjust your screen resolution. Facility Scheduler is best viewed at a screen resolution of 1366 x 768 or higher.

Employee General Info Screen

HR Tab: From the HR tab the employee and their primary manager can view data stored in your facility HR system. In addition to the information included on the General tab, the HR tab includes the employee's emergency contact information, PTO balance, pay period PTO accrual rate, approved PTO and estimated PTO hours for the next 24 pay periods. The Secondary Associations tab lists the primary work department as well as secondary departments to which the employee has an association.

Information on this tab is updated daily from the Lawson HR system. It is not editable and is only visible to users with assigned permissions, such as the employee's primary manager.

Note: Actual PTO hours are updated monthly from the Lawson HR system according to each employee's accrual rate. When PTO is approved, it is subtracted from this total. If approved PTO is retracted or deleted, the previously approved hours are added back to the employee's PTO Balance.
